Dr. Deepthi Raidu has spent her career in women's health in Hyderabad — through routine check-ups, difficult diagnoses, straightforward deliveries and complicated ones. Sharada's Urban Clinic in Madhura Nagar is where she now sees patients six evenings a week.
Her approach is unhurried by design. A consultation is a conversation: what's happening, what it probably means, what the options are, and what happens if you do nothing. Patients regularly say it's the first time someone explained their own body to them in language they could follow — in English, Telugu or Hindi, whichever is easiest.

Areas of clinical focus
- Obstetrics — antenatal care from the first visit through delivery, normal vaginal delivery and caesarean section.
- High-risk pregnancy — gestational diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease, twins, and pregnancies following previous complications.
- Minimal access (laparoscopic) surgery — keyhole gynaecological procedures, with smaller incisions and quicker recovery.
- Fertility & assisted reproduction — evaluation, ovulation tracking, counselling, and referral onward when specialist treatment is the right next step.
- General gynaecology — menstrual disorders, PCOS, infections, pelvic pain, contraception, and menopause care.
- Child health — well-baby checks, growth monitoring and the full childhood immunisation schedule.
A note on second opinions
If you've been told you need a procedure and want another view before deciding, bring your reports and scans. A second opinion is a normal, sensible thing to ask for — never an insult to the first doctor.

Enough time per patient
Slots are long enough for questions. If a consultation needs to run over because something serious came up, it runs over.
Only the tests that matter
An investigation is ordered when the result would change what we do next. Otherwise it's an expense, not a diagnosis.
Plain language, your language
No jargon left unexplained. Bring your husband, mother or sister — they'll be included in the conversation, not talked over.
Honesty about limits
When something needs a bigger hospital, an IVF centre or a different specialist, you'll be told plainly and referred properly.
